Home Improvement Projects During Cold Weather
Although our Fall in the Culpeper area has been pretty warm so far, cold weather should be on its way with Winter pretty close in the future. When cold weather sets in, most homeowners lack motivation to make any improvements around their house. But, there are tasks that you can complete, even though the cold makes it seem unbearable. Take a list of our recommended home improvement projects for the Winter:
- Painting – Painting is a labor intensive project, but it’s fairly easy for a homeowner to do on their own. The Winter is the perfect time to take on a project like this, because you aren’t missing much outside.
- Bathroom Remodel – A bathroom remodel can be either a really large project or something relatively small. You can decide how much you want to take on. But, one thing is for sure, the Winter is a perfect season to update your old fixtures! You can update an old faucet, regrout your tile or get really ambitious and replace your tiles!
- New Flooring – Updating the flooring in your home is a great Winter project, because it can drastically change the feel and warmth of your house. You can either take on the project yourself or have a professional install it, but either way, a new floor will make your home feel brand new!
- New Doors – After a while, doors in your home begin to look dull and old from overuse. One great way to improve the look of your home is to update the interior doors. This can be easily done in the Winter and make your doors go from drab to fab!
