Tammy’s View Part 1…

Lately, I’ve been taking Tammy on appointments with me. I think she is getting the summer fever, which pretty much started in the spring for her when she was able to see all the beautiful flowers. She wants to be outside more which is great for me! She can now measure gutters and leaf-guards then give the homeowner a quote. I’m now teaching her about windows.

With her riding along with me it makes my life much easier because I am able to dedicate my time to answering phone calls, emails & texts quicker than ever before.

Tammy sees things in a different way than I have in all my 30 years of owning Culpeper Window & Siding, Inc. She sits and listens to me describe to our customers what we will be doing for them. She is one of those people who loves to learn something new every day.

Tammy is a Graphic Designer for over 25 years and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business. She sees colors differently than I have even thought to mention to my customers. If you ever have a need to know what color to pick for your shutters, siding or doors let me know and I will bring her.

Here are some things she’s noticed that I would like to mention:

  • We only use products made in the United States. How many companies can say they do this these days?
  • We have a crew of guys that have been with us for over 20 years. That’s a very long time! Every day when they finish their job they clean up all the debris even if they are coming back the next day. She is amazed at how much our guys care about their job and their work ethic is top notch.
  • She has noticed that people expect our company to do repairs for siding or gutters within a matter of days. So I want to explain how this works to my future customers. We do repairs on days when we are in the area or when we take a whole day and do small jobs/repairs all in one day. Depending on the weather and when it’s convenient we will fit you in so please be patient with us. I always suggest that you find a local handyman in the area if you cannot wait to be put on our schedule.
  • Tammy suggested that I tell my customers to text me or email my photos with their address and the repairs they need. It saves me a ton of time to not have to drive all the way out to your home to give you an estimate. I can send you the contract, you can sign it and send me a deposit and then I can get you on the books. Talk about efficient.

If you want a woman’s advice on colors let me know and I will bring her along with me.
